In the first quarter of 2025, the music and podcast app market in Latvia saw varied performance among the top five apps on the iOS platform. According to Sensor Tower data, these apps exhibited distinct trends in downloads and revenue.

Spotify: Music and Podcasts experienced a notable increase in weekly revenue, culminating at approximately $10 in the final week of March. Despite this financial growth, its weekly downloads showed a gradual decline, starting from 727 at the beginning of the quarter and decreasing to 403 by the end.

Shazam: Find Music & Concerts maintained a consistent download rate, beginning with 481 downloads and ending with 321. The app did not generate any revenue during this period.

YouTube Music demonstrated strong revenue performance, with weekly earnings peaking at $5.2K in mid-March. However, downloads decreased from 441 at the start of the quarter to 298 by the end.

SoundCloud: The Music You Love had fluctuating revenue, reaching a high of $358 in late February. Its download trend showed a slight increase towards the quarter's end, rising from 309 to 324.

Finally, Airbuds Widget saw its downloads peak at 406 in late January, though they settled at 184 by the end of March. The app did not generate revenue during this quarter.
